In Design & Technology, year 5 enjoyed their studies of free-standing structures. They explored ways to make towers and bridges before applying their knowledge to making a marble run. This involved many attachments including bends and funnels. The challenge was to make a marble run which was free-standing and took a longer time for a marble to pass along it. They worked collaboratively to great effect!
