This half term we have been learning all about Harvest and how it is celebrated across the world. We have also looked at the Jewish festival of Sukkot, which gives thanks for a successful harvest. A key part of Sukkot is the sukkah – a temporary dwelling which each family constructs and in which they will spend time during the festival. We made our own sukkahs using some natural materials we collected.
