In our PE lessons this half term are investigating different types of jumps. We measured the distance of 3 consecutive jumps and will do this at the end of the unit to see if we can jump further.
We sat on the floor and balancing on our hands, we passed 5 pieces of equipment from a zone on one side of our body to a zone on the other side by using our feet. We were timed how long it took us. Then we repeated this, but we could only balance on one hand. We will repeat this activity at the end of the unit to try to beat our time!
We played ‘Crossing the River’ in teams. We had to get across the hall by jumping into hoops using jumping skills we had been practising.
