We have been studying magnificent mountains, the ways they are formed and the names of each type. We followed instructions to make our own miniature versions of each form of mountain and worked collaboratively to do so.

Congratulations to children from year 5 who have worked hard to achieve these certificates.

All of Year 5 have thoroughly enjoyed working with Miss Jefferis to dig up artefacts linked to the Danish hero Beowulf. This is the wonderful novel written by Michael Morpurgo based on the Anglo-Saxon text.

Year 5 enjoyed the challenges at the Fun Maths Roadshow, organised by the Maths department of Liverpool University.
