Science Initiative
Year 6 are part of the hunt for new antibiotics! They have swabbed our playground and sent the samples to researchers at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
These samples will be analysed as part of the #swabandsend initiative in the search for resistant bacteria.
Music - Classroom Jazz
Belong Believe Achieve
This week we practised playing along to this unit’s song, ‘Bacharach Anorak’. We made a good start and there was one performance in particular that stood out.
Design Technology
This half term, Year 6 have been researching, designing and making phone holders.
RE - Ideas about God

To start this unit, we worked in groups to discuss some key questions about our ideas about God.
PE Creative Skills
This half term we are working on Creative Skills, developing tactics, rules and balance.
Children in Need
As part of our fundraising for Children in Need this year, our school council completed a sponsored walk and we splatted our staff!
Worship
Father Robert delivered a worship on Saints, and in particular St Martin. We learnt lots of new vocabulary, our favourite was ‘venerate’.
Fun Maths Roadshow
Year 6 enjoyed participating in the Fun Maths Roadshow organised by Liverpool University.
Christmas Party
Year 6 had lots of fun at their Christmas Party.
